There are currently as many as four AN-12s of Cavok Air at Piešťany, on which the company´s technicians provide maintenance. Aircraft UR-CBG differs from the rest of the fleet in that it does not carry typical orange colours but still carries original painting after its previous operator Aerovis Airlines.
In the open air and as a makeshift job, Vulkan Air technicians completed the maintenance and partial repainting of the AN-26, which they bought from RAF-Avia. After the test flight, it can be put into operation in the near future.
New addition to the fleet of Constanta Airlines, AN-74TK-100 registration UR-UZP, arrived to Piešťany on 21.12.2022 from Moldovan airport Marculesti and since then it waits to be ferried to Trenčín for maintenance at Letecké opravovne Trenčín. AN-26 registration UR-UZE is currently finishing maintenance there.
Company Vulkan Air bought this AN-26 (formerly YL-RAC) from RAF-Avia and moved it to Piešťany, where after re-registration to UR-CQZ will undergo deep maintenance before service entry. By the way, all three other AN-26s of Vulkan Air has already been serviced at Piešťany.
Most of the airports in Ukraine are due to the Russian aggression unserviceable, so thanks to the activity of Anius handling company not only all four AN-26s of Vulkan Air but also so far 3 AN-12s of Cavok Air found their maintenance home at Piešťany airport.
This renewed L-410UVP-E for Kin Avia in the Democratic Republic of Congo departed Piešťany airport after overhaul and repaint on delivery flight on 11.10.2022. It is former LY-AVZ of Transviabaltika, c/n 892336, and after delivery flight it will receive its permanent registration 9S-GLA which has been temporarily overtaped on the fuselage.
